Horse Trailer Repairs and Services!

Spring is here and Summer is right around the corner! The warmer weather brings busy times, and a lot of time on the road! The best way to prevent a major accident is to prioritize preventative care on your trailers. We proudly offer many different repair jobs and services for your trailer needs!

How Often Should I Pack My Bearings?

The short answer to this question is to keep track of miles driven. However, our mechanics recommend that bearings should be packed at least once a year. If you are doing a large amount of traveling and putting heavy use on your trailer then every 6 months is recommended. To pack bearings at our shop is around $300 whereas replacing the whole axle is over $1800. Maintenance goes a long way!

Why Are My Trailer Lights Not Working?

There are a couple of things to check before calling the repair shop.

First, check the fuse on your vehicle. All trucks have independent fuses for the trailer wiring. Second, determine when the last time the plug was replaced. Over time the contact pins can corrode preventing the truck and trailer pins from making contact. If your plug is severely corroded or damaged it may need to be replaced.

Our maintenance shop is top-of-the-line and can take care of any of these repairs and many more!
